I dunno. With a gunner like Kovie in the lineup and a rock in goal like Brodeur, the Devils could be devestating. Especially if Elias can regain his form and stay healthy. Parise, Zajac, Rolston etc. They're loaded now. The only issue may be injuries on tbe blueline.

I feel bad for the Devils though. Spoke to a Devs fan at the game today, even he is worried Kovi will end up elsewhere next year.

He wants Ovechkin money. He's an awesome player but he ain't no Ovechkin. Or Crosby.
Can't see Ole Lou putting up with prima donna demands. They really didn't give up all that much, when you consider their core is still intact. If they keep him, can they afford to hang onto Zajac, Parise etc?
